7 Quick Home Remedies For Radiant Skin

Every woman wants a glowing, flawless skin. And not everyone is blessed with one. Many have to deal with minor to major skin issues, ranging from spots and pimples to dull skin. Stressful lifestyles, lack of proper sleep, unhealthy lifestyle and pollution are major factors that contribute to various skin problems. Although one cannot run away from them, one can surely prevent them. Also, it’s impossible to control aging as it’s completely natural. However, you can surely slow down the process and bring back that ‘lost’ glow. In this article, we would be talking about some quick home remedies to achieve radiant skin.  Read on to know them:

1. Turmeric Mask: 

Possessing anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties, this divine spice can give you radiant skin in no time. Mix half a teaspoon of organic turmeric powder with 4 tablespoons of gram flour. Mix the ingredients and make a paste by adding water or milk. You can also use rose water instead of plain water. Apply this turmeric mask and leave it on till it dries. 2. Yogurt Mask: 

Rich in lactic acid, yogurt removes dead skin cells and removes dark spots. It also imparts subtle glow to your face.  Take some fresh yogurt, add some lemon juice and apply the paste on your face. Massage it in a circular motion for a few minutes. Let it dry. Wash the face with cold water and dry it with a soft towel.

3. Cucumber Mask: 

One of the most effective remedies for glowing skin is the cucumber mask. Cucumber has the same pH level as the skin and is known for its soothing properties. Prepare a mask by extracting juice from fresh cucumber and mixing it with 2-3 tablespoons of yogurt. Leave this nutrient-rich mask on the face for about 15 minutes. Rinse the face with cold water.

4. Honey Mask:  

Blessed with antimicrobial properties, honey is quite rich in antioxidants. It reduces blemishes, nourishes the skin and makes it healthy and radiant. Make a mask by mixing honey with milk or fresh cream. Rub the mask thoroughly in gentle circular motions. Let the mask sit on your face. Rinse off after 15 minutes. 

5. Papaya Mask: 

Mash some papaya in a mixer. Mix it with a teaspoon of fresh cream. Apply this mask all over your face. Once the mask dries, clean the face with fresh water. You can also add a few drops of rose water in the mask.

6. Sandalwood Mask: 

Sandalwood is well-known for its cooling effect. It also helps lighten spots and pigmentation. To make sandalwood mask, mix one tablespoon of sandalwood powder and rose water. Apply the pack and leave it for 15-20 minutes. Wash your face while gently scrubbing it.

7. Potato Mask: 

Just like cucumber, a potato has anti-bleaching properties. It helps to clear spots and blemishes while imparting glow to the skin. Prepare a potato mask by grating a medium-sized potato and extracting its juice. Mix the potato juice with rose water. Apply the mask on the face and neck. Wash it after 30 minutes.
