What’s More Catastrophic Than Bad Breath? Get Rid Of ’em Doing This

They are like destiny killers. I would stall your success if they have the chance. Are you giving up? You can’t even have a conversation with your lover talk more share a moment of love. The disaster involved is outrageous. Many have suffered relationship breakups, loss of jobs, or clients. A breath stink always put off a conversation even before it begins. Overcome this plague with the following:

Water

Dehydration fouls your breath. Lack of saliva in the mouth changes the breath. Keep an odor-free mouth by drinking a glass of water. You should be able to drink a gallon of water daily. Drink water immediately you notice a smell. You can also eat foods with high water content like cucumber, watermelon, lettuce, tomatoes, etc. For cucumber, cut a slice and press to the roof of your mouth for better results. 

Sodium Bicarbonate (baking soda) 

The level of alkaline in the soda is sufficient enough to wipe out the bacteria that have developed bases and acids in the mouth. These acids are responsible for bad breath. Mix two teaspoons of sodium in warm water (as desired). Gargle the contents and spit out after 30 seconds. Repeat the process till satisfaction. 

Wash your tongue

There might be some leftover food particles encrypted in your tongue. Scrape with a tongue scraper or clean with a warm washcloth. You can also use a spoon to scrape off dirt from the tongue. You have to be careful with this process so as not to injure yourself. Scrape gently but firmly. The process is quite easy. 

Bad Breath

Orange or lemon recipe

Suck on an orange or lemon to kill the awful smell. As well known that orange contains vitamin C, the fruit aids the production of saliva in the mouth thereby preventing dehydration. You can choose to either use a lemon or lime. Slice into quarter parts and suck them after another. You can also drink lemon juice or drink. Lemons also stimulate the salivary gland.  

Herbs and spices

This involves the use of natural ingredients to eliminate bad breath. The most suitable herbs to getting rid of halitosis are; peppermint, basil leaves, thyme, cilantro, spearmint, etc. Wash and chew; gives fresh breath. Use spices like cinnamon, cloves, fennel seeds. These spices induce the salivary gland to produce more saliva. Saliva contains antibacterial agents that kills foul smell. Ginger is a very effective spice in cleansing the plague. 

With all that cleared, you can avoid doing some things to prevent bad breath;

  • Avoid eating garlic and onions: They give bad breaths the moment you consume them. If you must take them, ensure you have any of the aforementioned remedies at your disposal. 
  •  Avoid drinking and smoking: The components in the alcohol and in a cigarette causes a lasting foul odor in the mouth.  
  • Be wary of some medications: There are some medications that make the mouth dry thereby promoting bad breath. 

Maintain a good hygiene. Reduce our protein intake and a vinegar mouthwash (apple cider vinegar) also works like magic. Ulcer patients are strongly advised against taking vinegar and other ingredients that are dangerous to their health.
